Wit your first pregnancy did you go into labor before or after your due date?
I am 35w1d pregnant and my dr says that I have consistently been measuring a week ahead (but told me not to change my due date). I’m due Nov. 28th. I know anything can happen but I was just trying to weigh whether I have a chance of going in early. I haven’t been examined for dilation or effacement yet so I cant use that to judge as of yet. What do you guys think? What was your experience?
With my first baby my water broke at 11:30 pm on June 27th, and my contractions started a little after midnight on the 28th. (June 28th was my due date!) She was born at 2:15 am on the 28th. Most of the time people go past their due date with their first, but of course every woman and every pregnancy is different. You can be measuring big and you can be dilated to three centimeters for weeks before labor starts. By the sounds of it though, I would guess that you can expect your little one a bit sooner than November 28th! Good luck!!!!! Babies are so wonderful!!
