Hence, more and more women as well as men are naïve when the need to get a baby crops up. But what is really the essence of knowing about such information? This can actually tell the discrepancy between the concept of becoming pregnant and that of not getting pregnant at all.
The women’s cycle actually plays a very vital role in having a successful pregnancy and there are two cycles affecting pregnancy. First, you have the menstrual cycle while the other is ovarian cycle also referred to as the ovulation period. They are interconnected intensifying the chances of a woman becoming pregnant.
Menstrual cycle starts at the first day of bleeding onto the day of your next bleeding. While the most typical is that of around 28 days, there are some women who would have it for 30 to 31 days. During such time, there can be considered a number of stages that can have an effect on the woman’s ability for conception. And on the seventh day after your bleeding, your egg will then start to become ripe because of the hormones expelled from your body.
Between days 7 and 11, you will see some changes already. One of the most essential changes is that of the mucus which becomes thick from clear. In addition, your body temp in the morning will go up a little which are a mere sign of ovulation. When the ripened eggs moves to the Fallopian tube, this indicates that the egg cell is ready to be fertilized. Then that mature egg will be in waiting in the Fallopian tube before embedding itself in the ovary after having been fertilized by the sperm.
The uterus can also hold the egg that is waiting to be fertilized; however, this egg only has about 24 hours before it loses its ability to be fertilized and develop into a baby. If the egg gets fertilized, it will automatically affix itself to the uterus which will then act as the host while waiting for the fetus to develop and get a placenta. But then you will have to be more patient while checking your cycle so that you will get accurate results.
Your 15th day becomes the most fertile day of your cycle if you are having a 29-day cycle for your menstruation. However, it is always wise to listen to your body otherwise you might actually be missing on the fertile days.
If you are knowledgeable about your cycle, you will have the idea of when you should have sex. Having sex within the critical days would produce better results than having sex everyday. If you do sex on a daily basis, your partner will not get adequate time to come up healthy cells.
This is why it is usually recommended to have regular sex twice a week but more importantly three consecutive days until the most fertile day. So should the cycle for getting pregnant you learned about work well for you, you can be certain you will soon get pregnant.
