5 weeks pregnant?
my 1st day of my last period is on the 12th of sept.i checked the pregnancy calendar and found myself 5 weeks pregnant now.i was wondering why do they start counting from our 1st day of last period instead the day of intercourse.i had sex on the 22nd of sept.when do u think my conception date?can someone help to explain coz it’s my first and i really would like to learn more on this.thanks!!
It is not accurate to count pregnancy from the day of intercourse, because you do not know the day you actually conceived. Sperm can live in a womans body up to 5 days after intercourse. So you could have actually had your egg fertilized up to five days after intercourse. Hope this helps. When you have an ultrasound they can better pinpoint due date by the size of the baby.
